Has your Sunday morning sports talk radio program lost its coherence and insights? Has what was once informative and interesting now become boring, predictable and downright cranky? Had enough of being called a “genius”? The Talk Station has the perfect tonic…the next generation of Sunday morning sports radio…”Sunday Morning SportsTalk” with Patrick Reusse, Jim Souhan and Brad Lane!

Reusse and Souhan are the two lead sports columnists for the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. They’re two of the best in the business. Far from being the “homers” most Sunday morning listeners have had to settle for in the past, these guys pull no punches and bring to the radio the same kind of contrarian humor and singular insights that have made their columns the “must-reads” for all Minnesota sports fans. Brad Lane’s the man that’s brought the “zing” to the overall sound of the Talk Station, and he brings the same imagination and flare to the table as “Sunday Morning Sports Talk’s” ringmaster.

Joe Soucheray and Patrick Reusse changed sports-talk radio in the Twin Cities forever with “Saturday SportsTalk”. Now, Reusse, Souhan and Lane bring a similar attitude, freshness, humor and insight to Sunday morning sports-talk radio. You DO have a choice! “Sunday Morning SportsTalk” Sunday morning 10am-12 noon only on the Talk Station, AM 1500 KSTP!

*The Gophers free-throw shooting defense was at its best Saturday as they held Penn St. to 47% from the charity stripe. With the state of Big Ten basketball this season, Tubby's Gophers realistically could compete for and finish 4th or even higher in the league.

*Teams like St. Cloud St. that recruit hockey players who probably aren't headed to the NHL, are better able to fully develop their lineup with guys who're going to be around for all 4 years - than a program like the U of M.

*Interviewed Twins pitching coach Rick Anderson: despite Patrick's best efforts, he would not admit that young reliever Julio DePaula is a stiff.

*Patrick's and Brad's pick of Seattle over Green Bay is a low moment for the show.

*Jim, on the Tony Romo-Jessica Simpson media frenzy: "We don't need to worry about the guy who has the girl; we need to worry about the guy who doesn't who's out all night looking for the girl."
