Interesting tidbits from Sunday, November 15th

-It took playing South Dakota St. for Tim Brewster to get his first ever win as Gophers football coach in the month of November.

-Saturday's hard-fought win over the hated JackRabbits felt more like a loss than any other defeat this year.

-We were told that the Gophers were going to be ready for SDSU - given their loss to I-AA North Dakota State in '07. So...which is it; is SDSU that good, or are the Gophers that BAD?

-GUEST: Michael Rosenberg of the Detroit Free Press regarding the Lions futility transcending years of different players, coaches, and GM's.

-NFL shows once again that it's initials really stand for No Fun League: fining Chad Ochocinco $20,000 for his fake $1 bribe of an official on a close call?? C'mon...

-GUEST: David Kahn, President of basketball operations for the Wolves. Wanted to take issue with one of Jim's blogs where he questioned the hiring of a coach who seems to want to run the triangle offense, when the roster contains players ill-equipped to run it.
