Auto Talk
w/ Paul Brand

Saturday 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Sunday 12:00pm - 2:00pm

AM 1500 KSTP's AutoTalk, the Twin Cities only radio show devoted to automobiles, is hosted by nationally-known automotive expert, Paul Brand.

Throughout Twin Cities automotive circles--dealers, professional and weekend mechanics, parts and service retailers, and automotive enthusiasts--Paul is universally known and respected for his vast knowledge of automobiles.

As an automotive troubleshooter, race-car driver, and leading Midwest instructor of law enforcement pursuit driving, Paul makes the show informative and interesting with his wit, knowledge and easy-to-understand advice on any and all auto problems. A typical show will find Paul expertly fielding questions about changing your own oil, finding the source of squeaks, squeals and rattles or even the complex inner workings of an automatic transmission, engine or electronics.

One of Paul's goals is to simply help people understand more about automobiles so that they may get longer service life and be wiser customers. He is always in great demand as a speaker at automotive conventions, trade shows, and anywhere there is a gathering of people connected with the automobile industry.

The Home & Garden Show
w/ Mike Hibbard & Loren Kohnen

Saturday 7:00am - 10:00am

Each Saturday morning, am1500KSTP listeners get geared up for the Home and Garden Show (7am to 10am), hosted by Loren Kohnen, resident handyman, and our garden experts Mike Hibbard. Once the three-hour how-to call-in show ends at 10 a.m., there's no telling how many people go directly to the nearest hardware or garden store, eager to tackle their next do-it-yourself projects.

Our team brings hands-on experience and knowledge to the show ... Loren is a past president of the Minnesota Building Officials and owner of his own building inspection business. Mike Hibbard is the resident horticulturalist at Bachman's Garden Centers.

Questions range from, "Why are my hibiscus leaves falling off?" to "What can I do about my leaky basement?" Loren and Mike provide answers to these and other listeners' questions, and also talk about recipes, places they've been, vacations, music and sports. But the primary focus is on home and garden.

The am1500KSTP Home and Garden Show is the Twin Cities' only radio show for the Do-It-Yourself'er and has been on the air for more than 14 years.

Sunday Morning Sports Talk
w/ Patrick Reusse, Jim Souhan & Brad Lane

Sunday 10:00am - 12:00pm

Has your Sunday morning sports talk radio program lost its coherence and insights? Has what was once informative and interesting now become boring, predictable and downright cranky? Had enough of being called a “genius”? The Talk Station has the perfect tonic…the next generation of Sunday morning sports radio…”Sunday Morning SportsTalk” with Patrick Reusse, Jim Souhan and Brad Lane!

Reusse and Souhan are the two lead sports columnists for the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. They’re two of the best in the business. Far from being the “homers” most Sunday morning listeners have had to settle for in the past, these guys pull no punches and bring to the radio the same kind of contrarian humor and singular insights that have made their columns the “must-reads” for all Minnesota sports fans. Brad Lane’s the man that’s brought the “zing” to the overall sound of the Talk Station, and he brings the same imagination and flare to the table as “Sunday Morning Sports Talk’s” ringmaster.

Joe Soucheray and Patrick Reusse changed sports-talk radio in the Twin Cities forever with “Saturday SportsTalk”. Now, Reusse, Souhan and Lane bring a similar attitude, freshness, humor and insight to Sunday morning sports-talk radio. You DO have a choice! “Sunday Morning SportsTalk” Sunday morning 10am-12 noon only on the Talk Station, AM 1500 KSTP!
