Pinch-hitter Joe Inglett sliced a two-out, bases-loaded single through the infield in the top of the 11th inning, lifting the Toronto Blue Jays over the Minnesota Twins, 3-2 Thursday afternoon at the Dome. The win gave the Jays a three-game sweep of the Twins. The Twins twice had runners thrown out at the plate to end innings, and stranded 11 men overall. Jason Kubel ran through third-base coach Scotty Ulger's stop sign in the 7th and was easily thrown out. Twins lefty Glen Perkins went 6 innings for the Twins, striking out six, giving up five hits and two runs. Jesse Crain ended up with the loss. Twins centerfielder Carlos Gomez didn't start, sitting out with the flu. He did enter the game in the late innings.
