St. Paul mayor has hole in one on golf course

While the Republican National Convention got mixed reviews this week, St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman aced at least one test _ on the golf course.

Coleman hit a hole-in-one on the par 3 eighth hole at Highland National Golf Course in St. Paul during a charity event on Friday. He used a 9-iron during the Shannon Open golf tournament that benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Organizers say the four-day long convention was a resounding success and showed St. Paul is equipped to handle the biggest events around.

But some were concerned about the significant police presence in the city all week and more than 800 arrests made during demonstrations and protests from Monday through Thursday.
