Injuries will keep Minnesota Lynx guard Candace Wiggins and forward Charde Houston out Friday night against San Antonio.
Wiggins bruised her lower back when she fell in Thursday’s game against Indiana. The third overall pick in this year’s draft is second among all rookies with 16.4 points a game. She is listed as day-to-day.
Houston was also hurt in the Indiana game. She bruised her left knee in a collision with Tan White in overtime. She had an MRI on Friday morning that showed no ligament damage and is also listed as day-to-day.
