Been with am1500 since...
September 2001

Who is your favorite am1500 personality (besides yourself) and why?
I'm really not silly enought to answer this question.

Share a favorite am1500 moment...
My KSTP career began in September 2001 with a show that aired Sundays from noon to 3 p.m.  I started a discussion about a retiring stewardess (yes, during her tenure, she was a stewardess).  This particular woman had been with Northwest Airlines for forty years.  I spent about 1 1/2 hours taking calls on the way commercial air travel used to be.  There was a former stewardess in her 80’s that called in and talked about flight before pressurized cabins, a plane full of barfing passengers as a result of turbulence, among other thing.  We discussed cigar flights, and men only flights in which the stewardesses dressed in such a way that was a bit more appealing to the male eye.

It was fun and nostalgic, and it didn’t matter whether you were a Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative.  It brought out elements of cultural change for the better and for the worse.  I probably should have had that one preserved on a CD, but I didn’t.
