Been with am1500 since...
2000

Who is your favorite am1500 personality (besides yourself) and why?
John Heidt...because when he comes in, my work is done.

Share a favorite am1500 moment...
Oh, gosh, it had to be the time Willie said something about that one guy from that town somewhere.  Or maybe it was Jay.  No, Mischke.  Could've been Souch.  Reusse possibly?  No, Matt Thomas.  Maybe Dave Thompson. I don't remember what it was exactly, but it was precious.  Just precious.

If you weren’t in radio what would you be doing?
My high school aptitude test said I'd make a good mortician. In a way, I feel like I'm accomplishing that.

Use a sports cliche to describe your approach to radio...
"There's no I in news."  (Sometimes I really crack myself up.)

Name some of your pet peeves...

I'm completely imperturbable. Absolutely nothing bothers me. Well, poor spelling. And drivers who insist on getting in FRONT of you before they turn OFF the freeway. And that haunting feeling that you want to change everything you've just filled out in a questionnaire. Oh, and discovering after you get home that you've just bought something at the grocery store that's past its expiration date. Ryan Seacrest really annoys me, too...maybe more than anything.

The single best movie ever made is...
There is no single best movie. But there are two "worsts:" "Plan 9 from Outer Space" and "Eraserhead."

List some of your personal heroes...
They may not all be heroes, but I've always loved compelling speakers: Winston Churchill, Martin Luther King Junior, Abba Eban, Barbara Jordan, Hubert Humphrey, Larry the Cable Guy....

What’s your Cylinder Index?
23. But I'm thinking of buying an ocean liner to improve on that.

What was your first car and how much did you pay for it?
1965 Ford Mustang. About $2400, I think.

Name your top 5 musical artists of all time...
Just five? Besides Beethoven and Horowitz and Dylan and the Beatles? I love great harmonies so I'd include Mamas and Papas, Hollies, Fleetwood Mac, even the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. ABBA also had really great harmonies, but I wouldn't dare list them publicly. You know how people are...even though I'm Swedish, too.
